I hope that this material is what you're talking about is I explained in a e-mail but this would be a good demo of the use of this stuff you can buy it anywhere and it comes in 49 zillion color combinations I will be sending some samples of it to you ship and including the jig you see in the picture.

Actually I am talking about the stretchable plastic jigs. They do not tear off the hook. Are they using elastek or something like that? Is it like plastisol that I can heat in the microwave, and add scent and color to before injecting in the mold? Could I make a crappie jig that has a plastisol body and combine this stuff for a tearproof tail?

Many times I find the fish are tearing the tail off my bait. I am thinking of ways to solve the problem and still have great tail movement on the mold I have with the thin minnow tail.

I saw an advertisement on TV over the weekend showing some kind of soft plastic bait that was very durable and stretchy and you could not break it unless you really jerked hard. I do not think a fish would break it. It looked like some kind of plastisol made bait. I would like to find out what exactly it is made of so I could shoot some baits with it. It was super stretchy

ship by adding a hard near to your plastic you can make this difference you want in it would definitely stay on the hook but I do not like hard plastics there's no action and him I use a medium grade plastic I use Calhoun which I swear by it it is good quality and very durable I would not experiment by heating up plastics it is very dangerous all plastics are some what the same as what we are using to make plastic baits it just a different formulation but this is a strong warning to everyone out there do not mass around by heating other plastics up make sure that you know what you're doing before you attempt to do it I would not even try to melt anything down but what we are using to make plastic baits out of by using other plastics you may become overwhelmed by the stink and I'm sure you do not want to brief too much of that stuff so if you have a sample of what you're talking about ship sent it to me in to take a look at it I'm still quite confused on your questions.

I was at a distributor show a year ago and saw such a plastic in baits. The baits I saw were called "Peglegs" and "Tiny Tots". The plastic used in these was unreal. Soft and pliable, but able to stretch almost four times the bait's length. check with www. lure slash tech dot com. By slash, I mean this -. The plastic used is not available as yet for home use.

I saw the same show and that is what got me to wondering what the material was and if you used it just like and or with plastic baits molds.

I would like to see this tape if anyone of you guys can post it we used to get some skirts from Goldstar out of Washington state they were very durable and they also were very bright and glowed in the dark they were very popular but unfortunately they quit selling them what I am talking about these skirts are used in trolling Fortuna also silver side salmon to give you an ideal of what the materialist like it's very tough but it worked fine in the water don't know anything about how to get that plastic but if you could you would have a indestructible plastic baits.
