    Default Super Glue

Those of you that glue your baits to the jig head is there a special brand that you like or one that works better then others? Would Soft Bait Glue adhere to the jig head? The reason I ask this is the other day I was shooting some docks with a really soft bait and after a few shots it was splitting. Had a off brand of glue on board so I tried it. Did not hold up very well.

I don't know if the stuff they sell on fishing sites is any different from any other super glue. I use it a lot and just pick up whatever at Home depot.

Splitting? Are you using a head with a barbed holder? I use all collar-less heads and eliminate that splitting stuff entirely.

I get my super glue from the Dollar Tree. Works well. Just one drop on a jighead. I use jigs with no collar.

When you shoot docks, be sure you are holding the jighead and not the plastic lure. Works better - no splitting and better accuracy.

we use gorilla superglue it is fantastic we do not have any problems we guarantee you will not pull your plastic off it will tear it in half we buy it by the case. It's a little bit more money but is well worth it.

We have been using this style on Ky. Lake for a while and they are the best for the soft Garland type plastic baits. No glue. Stays put and no tearing. Do-It has 2 kinds of molds. http://do-itmolds.com/shop/index.php...&path=1_7_2083

Super glue Walmart, dollar tree, they are find, but have found that some bottles ,would have to wait a little longer befor using it,1or 2 minutes, may be older, but have seen many bottles that way. I just use a different rod until I think it is really cured
