Here is yet another bait that I did serious damage to fish popluations with last summer using some that I'd ordered. When I came across the mold for this one I grabbed it right away.
This is a 1.5" bait. The body measures .25" in diameter and is right about 1/2" in length. The colors shown here are different from what I had ordered last year and will be put to test as soon as the ice is off the water up here. I may run them down to the Mississippi River and dunk them when we get the next string of a few 40 degree days back to back so I can have some stability in the weather at least.
The Bluegill/chartreuse is really getting my attention now that I am making my own. While colder water may not show too much promise for this color, I know that by June it is going to be spelling disaster for the post spawn crappies.
