The molds that are $125 to $150 have more cavities than normal (10) the ones you are looking at are 15 to 20 cavity. not bad. my custom molds he makes are $150 bucks a mold (10) cavity

It's odd some mold you see are cheap and some not so much but his stuff is still a great price and quality, Plus he does custom work with a good turn around. Jacobs and Caney Creek are by far the best values going but yea the prices might have gone up a tad

probably due to the fact the material cost also tooling on some of the molds will bring the price up Rick does a outstanding job and we stand behind his molds I would gladly pay more any day to get quality stuff Rick is always been fair in prices Jacobs baits is number one in my book.

I would use Jacob but for the fact he wont use a 5/8 injection port and he puts most all of them in the middle and that wont allow me to shoot 2 color with the twin injector. Time is money and 2 color shooting half the mold then putting them back together and shooting them again is just to slow for me. Price was always good but I cant get past the 2 color thing.

Bear and Basstackle also have good molds. Del-mart has good quality but you never know how long it will take to get them. I buy from Canneycreek, Jacobs, Basstackle and Bear. Now if I only had more money instead of going ennie minnie minny moe!

Since this thread is about Jacobs....I have 3 of his molds and his injector and I give all of them A+. Very good quality and fast delivery. I personally find his prices more than fair.

For small bluegill/crappie baits I like the small sprue and runner. The injector works with any mold...and works well for "hand pouring" also.

I have several of the molds too and they are quality top notch. Im just saying that for a long time, most of his molds were averaging between 55 and 65 dollars. Now the newer ones that are coming out for the most part are averaging upwards of 20 dollars higher. At least he is not raising the price of older designs.CF
