I'm looking for a specific color of a swimming minnow. I'm trying to find a company or person to pour me the color I need. The bait is the same style as the bobby garland bait but the color I need is a solid silver. I'm attaching a picture of what I am looking for. I'm willing to buy in bulk if I need to. Does anybody know any companies that will run special colors or a person willing to make the bait for me. Here is the picture.
I already asked Bobby Garland already and they don't run special colors. I want the bait to stay the same shape but I don't care if it has to come in the 3 inch version.
I could use some help if anybody has any ideas. I thought about pouring my own but I just had a baby and don't have the funds or the time to get into pouring my own baits.
Thanks,
Bittle

The smallest mold i've seen for that bait is 4 or 4.5 inches .

The smallest swimming minnow mold sold for handpours is from Basstackle in a 3" version. It's the one I use. The minnow is a little bigger bodied than a BG and of course 1/2" longer. But, they catch crappie right now like it's going out of style. And, when you need a shorter minnow just pinch off the head and viola......you have a shorter minnow.
Basstackle also has a new minnow out in I think a 2.5" but it looks nothing like a regular swimmin' minnow but would be a great bait as well. It is a minnow with a curl tail and riffles on the bottom of the bait.
I sell a lot of these 3" swimming minnows I pour out of my retail store to the white bass/crappie crowd. Esp. in red with chart tail, pearl white with chart tail and pearl white.
Later!
