Default Jacobs silver minnow mold any one have it?

Well with some of my tax free momma don't know money I'm thinking of getting the silver minnow 2 1/4 mold from Jacob's. My question is, is it thick enough for a 1/8 ounce jig head with a decent barb not to split out the sides?

Maybe someone will chime in that has it Mo but I like that series of molds too. Good looking bait and I know it would work good on Stripers in my neck of the woods.CF

I just received one of them also, going to make some but the body is about a 1/4" wide, a 1/8th oz head looks like it will be a little big for the body. will find out. will make some and put a 1/8th oz jig on it and post later. Just rolled out of bed and getting around.

How about posting a photo of the mold and the bait it made. Thanks.

Here ya go Mo! This is 1/8 with a #2 sickle. I will say that it is a tight fit width-wise with a barbed head. Its going to tear pretty quick.. So best bet with this bait is to go with just a ballhead (barbless) and some super glue.

Wow I've missed you guys lol awesome pics I love Ricks stuff but his thin bodies limited me with an 1/8 ounce head. I think this bait will be a killer. I used the "fin s " style baits in alot the summer. Ron Don it's about time the Bone Poverty point heats up. I love my North Louisiana White Perch!'Snake hows the married life?
