I will pick you up on 12/28 cheers Thanks for showing that. It confirmed my assumptions of what I thought you were doing. That is the engineer in me coming out. It must be very time consuming to do that camo bait you did. How is that mold you are working on going? I cant wait to see what your came up with. You have a talent for sure. Reading your post and looking at all your cool pics just pushes me closer to jumping into the injection world. Keep up the good work.
Dem are some fine looking baits!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Thanks guys, I pour them using the silicone cups. You onl want to put a little in them because they are real flimsy but you can pinch the cups to make a real fine pour spout.
Chris,I am waiting on that mold. Last I heard was he was taking some out to test them. I may take you up on the 28th if I dont get to go out sooner. I know where they are just cant get to them.
Keith,
That helps a beginner like me. My mold is five cavities. I will have to try this technique. Did you have both colors heated at the same time? Is it best to wait a full minute between the pour and when you clamp the mold and inject so the colors don't bleed on each other? Are there any issues with bonding?
I am glad you posted this. I have been experimenting doing two tone baits and kept messing up. Merry Christmas.
those look great, wish I had the time to do some like that. great job as always.
Awesome job! Man that is some nice and neat hand pouring!
Those are some awesome looking baits as usual!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Thanks for the great tutorial! I'm gonna have to start saving up for a multi-cavity mold... :)
Nice work Keith when do you want to go I'm allways ready.
