Thread: here are some old but new baits

here is an old plastic mold that I've had sitting around for a while I thought I would post it this is the one that I was telling you about g.

Since this is a DIY forum, maybe tell us a little more about how you make them. A little about what to avoid doing, about what to avoid buying, tricks of the trade (some that you can share that are not trade secrets). I'm sure members love the designs and might like to try to make some themselves.

this is a mold that I had designed only the tail section the mold is made by Jacob baits it was designed for action this is a soft plastic bait on this one for more action we have used chartreuse for the color with fine glitter this particular mold is a injected mold heating the plastic up to about 360° and shooting.I forgot to mention that this is a 2 inch bait.

I would bet that would be a killer on 'Gills without the curly tail Bob.

I have never thought about doing that but I'm sure that it would work maybe perhaps put some feathers for the tail or a couple of pieces of rubber.
