Ship....go to Hobby Lobby and get some Plaster of Paris
Ok G. Will go on Tuesday. Have a funeral to go to on Monday.
After you take your grubs out of the mold, you have to seal the mold. Best way is to use a mixture of elmers glue and water (50-50) paint it over the mold parts and let it dry. Do this two times and your mold will be ready to go!
That is what I love about this site. Everyone is so helpful and I appreciate it. You all have given me great advice. Thank you all.
Ship,
Don't keep me hanging. Updates my man.
Expect photos tomorrow my friends. I made some molds. I sealed the molds. I made a few pours. Not too bad for the old man.
David, I am having a ball. Fooling with plastics is as much therapy as it is in tying hair jigs. Best of all is catching fish on something you made. I am not in the same league as Keith or Bob, but I can make a little somethin somethin the fish will bite. They are not great but they will work. I have Sunday school and a sermon to prepare. Photos will be posted sometime tomorrow. I did a few minnows and some tadpoles G.
Wonder how Bob is doing in China. Hope he behaves himself over there. LOL!
Bob NAH!!!!!!
Probably gonna cost him a fortune to ship all the stuff he finds back to the states LOL. Hope he's having a good time though!!!
Can't wait to see what you came up with!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Ok. I put my toe in the water. As promised, here are pictures from what I attempted to do. Overall I gave myself a C+ grade because they will catch fish, but these are no where near the category that Keith or Bob can do. I was just having fun and trying out something different to see if I liked it. Try not to laugh too hard folks.

These are the molds after I sealed them with Elmer's Glue and water. After they dried I sprayed them with cooking oil and was ready to pour the hot plastic.
