    Default aquarium tubing

Here is another question for all the experts on here. Has anyone ever tried melting clear aquarium tubing in a microwave and using the molten plastic to make lures? Just wondering before I make a big mess. Anyone been there and done that? Any advice? Dumb idea?

If I had several grand I would buy myself a boat or better yet a home on a reservoir. I spent a fortune tying jigs. No way I can do the same with plastics. I had a hard time convincing her the fact that I wanted to try dipping eyes.
