I have a question what are you using for tails on your plastic bait I know that you are using a dip met that I just can't figure out where the tails come from.

I use a hot glue gun and a homemade form. You can tell its a hand made form if you look at the tails real good. Some are a tad bit wider than the others. You got to know when to start and stop the glue gun or your bait will just look bad. After years of doing this I have about mastered it. Not one of my jigs are the same really, The average fisherman wouldnt notice what I do though. I have a guy that always wants my "bad" jigs. He says they are fine and catch fish just as good but it bothers me to put those in the packs I sale to others. So out of 50 jigs I make I will "trash" 15 of them just because they dont look the way I want them to. Then he picks up my trash and pays me for it 1/2 price... So its a win win I guess.

These are the ones that obviously didnt pass my inspection. Not all of them are this noticeable but if I see something wrong with it then to the trash bag it goes!

even your bad ones look good you can do a other way by pouring flat sheets of plastic and cutting them then dipping them but you have your own process it works out good for you so stick with it you do a fantastic job your baits always look good.

Thanks guys! I will continue to show all kinds of combos to you guys. I love the feedback. If you think its bad please do tell me so that I dont waste plastic. I only fish with a hand full of colors and if the fish dont bite those I go home. I make other colors because its what people want.

Snake.. I have poured flat sheets in the past but I feel like im hustling backwards! It takes forever!! lol but it is a great idea for anyone starting out.

Here is two more colors I made for a customer today. What yall think?
