    Default Favorite brand of plastic?

I read a post a while back about brands of plastic. I cant seem to find it anywhere. I use formula#502 from LC but I remember reading in the post that the LC plastic was on the low end and overpriced a bit. I havent used any other brand and I was wondering if you guys think the calhoun is a better quality plastic. I know there is Mf, lure craft, and Calhoun and I would like to know which plastic you guys think is the best. I'm willing to try something new because its time to reorder. I dont like the smell of LC and I can never seem to melt it clear. It has a off color to it but other than those two things I like it.

we use a plastic that we have bought to bear baits the drum of plastic come from Seattle Washington so far I have no complaints it does not stink up the place and I do enjoy working with it we have tried other plastics which I do not like they usually smoke and smell of the place if you have a plastic that you have been working with for a long time and you are satisfied with it I would stick with that brand of plastic there are many plastic makers out there and of course a lot of them that you do not know about you have to find a company and tell them exactly what you want and postal in that is a trial and error game because they will come up with them many different formulas you have to pick a plastic maker that has been into it for many years Calhoun is a good plastic I've heard no complaints about them at all but I have not tried out so many of them that are on the market that you could order so I'm a little bit behind on which one is the best but I suggest that if you have been using a plastic that you really like stick with it if you do find a plastic it is cheap please let me know they are really get in high-priced on plastic we are running over $900 per drum right now it's a little bit high for plastic but I do not complain a bit if I'm satisfied with it.

I may stick with LC its stinks but I know how to use it and the action it makes with a finished product. Its just getting more and more expensive. I seen bears had Calhouns for almost $10 cheaper by the gallon so I was thinking I may got that route. Now I just gota ask.... How do you shake a drum of plastic? lol. I shake myself almost to a faint shaking a gallon!!

I'm in Laurens County and thanks a ton for the info. I'm going to look into that right now! If you know anymore local guys to order from please fill me in unless its something you use for your business or something. I have only dealt with LC and they take their time and shipping is high but its the only company I have ever used.

I take the lid off the the drum and use a 4 x 4 1 inch by 4 foot and use it to stir with you still have to shake it up when you put it in smaller containers I used to gallon containers also gallon I figure I do not need a motorized stirring rod.
