Default leaving the site for a few days or so

I am in the process of moving since I graduated college and will soon be working in another town. My new place can not get highspeed internet and we would have to use something like hughesnet and it will not work for my wifes school. We will probably get dial up in a few weeks just to have some way to get on line and she will have to do schoolwork somewhere else. So I might not be back on line for a few days maybe a few weeks. I know yall wont miss me, but I will sure miss yall. I will check back in tomorrow before I leave out. Soon as I get a chance I will check back in after that.

Look into an air card, that's what I use...close to DSL speeds. Might be a little more expensive, but if you have a laptop, you can take it with you if you like.

I use Hughes net...high speed broadband and its very fast and works good. Sometimes in bad weather I might lose the satelite contact for a few minutes but other than that its great.

G, nine out of 10 people around the area I live say it is terrible and way too expensive. Some of them have tried it for school and say they can not do what they need to do on it and so it is useless to them for such a high price. Occasionally someone will say it is good. However I do not want to commit to a high dollar contract if it is not going to do what I need. I am glad to hear it works good for you.

Seeker, I agree with NeonMoon..We are also in a remote mountain area and have opted for an air card..Works great...Thumbs Up
