and then you pour plaster Paris over the balsa wood to make your mold or do you use car Gumbel that you can buy it auto supply.
Neither one Snake , I mount the master on a coriander flat plate that fits a tray tray made from the same stuff . The depth and length I need for a lure . I paint the master and the inside of the tray with mold release . Then I take a tube of 100% silicone or tubes and mix about 10 drops water to it . stir well . put that in the tray leaving enough room for displacement when you press the master down in it. Do that gently and evenly until you get a little silicone coming out around the plate. Let set for a couple hours . Note: The water makes the silicone set fast so get the master in fairly quickly if the set gets to far along the cavity will have deformity . After the master is removed you can take out the silicone mold . Put the mold under or in a heat source for an hour to make sure all the water has evaporated . 100 to 140 degrees. Now you are ready to use it.
