I am looking into getting started, have no expeirence with this process but really interested in trying. Any guesses on what it would cost to get the neccessary material to begin the process of pouring my own baits?

First off go injection . If you are looking to do crappie baits . I would suggest Jacobs baits .250 bucks should get you an injector a mold of choice gallon of plastic 5 or six colors. Nuke the plastic. If you are into bass then Bears baits for a kit Dels ect. lot of bass mold makers.
