    Default Small Shad baits

Got the new 2 in slick shad mold from Basstackle think it will work on slabs? Kind of a big bite. The top ones have 3d eyes and the bottom ones are painted on. Frank

Did you use a twinjector on the two colors or make them the old fashion way by cutting off plastic and shooting a second injection color? They look good to me, might keep the little ones from hitting so much. Also after you put the eyes on do you dip the head into clear plastic to cover the eyes?

very good job Frank that 2 color injector sure works good for you. We haven't got to order one yet that definitely looks like a custom made mold but definitely like it. It's a little bit different than your regular Shad I did you attach the 3d eyes . What did you use to paint the eyes on with the others . I have never used a to in Shad like that for crappie but I'm sure that they will work fine . I should've read the above before I posted this I see that you bought the molds from bass tackle they do a great job on your molds . We are currently looking at a other mold 20 cavity skirt mold little bit. Expensive, but I deftly like the body the way they look . We have a few more molds coming. I think it will be interesting.

Yes the two color ones are with the twinjector. The mold is not really custom but I did order it nose pour so I could do laminates like this. One draw back with this mold is if you want a single color you have to inject one at a time. I am working on something for that. And yes I do dip the heads to keep the eyes on. The painted ones are plastic paint from Lure Craft. I use a tooth pick cut in half to apply the paint. Thanks guys Frank
