this is kind of a warning to all new people to plastics, you should take every precaution to protect yourself from hot plastic, it will definitely burn in. I've been work many times make sure that you wear gloves if you can and you should be wearing eye protection make sure were you set your hot molds in never never let any children into your working area why you are shooting plastics. I prefer to have nobody around me when we are working with the plastics I feel more confident that I will not hurt anybody else. Many of my friends have dropped by why we are working. I kindly asked them to step back away from the why we are shooting it only takes a split second for a accident to happen with this hot material and also I would like to pass on. If you are experimenting with these plastics arranges be extremely careful. I do not recommend this for everybody in this is a warning to everyone. If you use this method with the syringe you should take every precaution before you do it in it is in can be dangerous. I'm not saying that you should not try it. I'm saying and that you may be bar on blowouts from the syringe. We do not recommend this at all to the beginner, you should at least have six months of experience before you mess with it the syringe
I have not experimented too much with this. We still in the process of working with the syringe. There are certain things that you can do in cannot do with it. I wish I could use a needle on the and we have tried this but it gets cold too fast in will not go through the needle plastic because if you could you could do some incredible things like making spots in real thin lines down the body of the plastic I will try some way your ideals when I get a chance. They sound very interesting. I do not have a till mold for my baby shed stingers I will have to talk to Rick on this to see if he could not make me up one it would be a fantastic to have this then I would be able to make the acid rain pretty easy
Yes, a tail mold comes in real handy. I love my tail molds, they save me a lot of time. They also keep me from remelting other plastics.
Let me know what you come up with. you will surely love it.
if I get a chance to order one. I will definitely let you know. We do not plan on in the future of making three color baits too much work involved. We were going to stick to 2 colors in the future not less. I did make them a lot faster and that mold would be ideal if I get one, but that leaves out so many other molds and you can keep on going for ever unmaking a tail cover for your different baits. That's why most of the manufacturers only have 2 colors a lot simpler they catch just as many fish the three thing catches fisherman do you agree
Snake.....your right buddy....sometimes less is more.
I totally agree that sometimes less is more snake. I also agree that a lot of the 3 color baits catch fisherman instead of fish. However I have experienced on more than one or two occassions that if not for one of my 3 color baits it would have been the difference in catching no fish verses catching a crap load. I have been a repeat customer of certain color combinations in three colors, so they have their advantages on the fish at times. Not the majority of the time, but sometimes. I always want to be prepared for whatever teh calling is lol
