First, I guess I should have titled this "pre-weighted stake beds" as you still have to get them to the spot and out of the boat.:D Anyway, this is the second edition after reading your feedback. The three pieces can be screwed in place while on the water over the spot. The cross piece is now on the bottom so we will be less likely to get hung. BTW, Also doubles as a throne for the "Little Crappie Princes".![]()

I like them
Looking good!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! They not in the water yet?![]()
That is a great idea. It is ideal for employing old pallets, etc.
...and the princess is just beautiful!! <><

BTW, sunk one last night. It's took 80 lbs of concrete and a large rock to get the redwood slats to go to the bottom. Different wood may be easier to sink. Also, need another person in the boat. Assembly and deploying was difficult by myself.
get you an old boat and put a conveyor on the front and roll them off
Cool, I learned something on my first visit to this site! Thanks
That looks really good. I am very impressed. Now if I can figure out some way to do something similar with bamboo. No doubt, when dropping cover having a second person or two makes it much easier. Build them and add additional weight to the four corners as you sink them. 8x8x16 concrete blocks are inexpensive and sometimes can be found for fee. Slide them over the 4 end vertical boards as you slide it into the water.
