    Default Bill Dance Pocupine structure

Has anyone used the Bill Dance Porcupines? How do they compare to homemade PVC or real wood?

They work great!!!!!!!! We placed them off our dock at Lake of the Ozarks....in fact got a call from my father in law at 3pm, had his 15 fish limit in under 2 hours!

We placed six of them and they attract fish great

now, if you like dropping 40 bucks on these things go for it.......

we did not know about this website when we bought these.....bc of this site we now use these......http://www.crappie.com/crappie/crapp...ole-build.html

total cost is about 2 bucks a structure, they do just as good as the bill dance aparatuses

one thing i like about the DIY version from this site is you dont have to figure out a way to weigh the structure down........the bill dance ones you do

    hope this helps

    Good luck!

I haven't been able to let go of the cash for the Bill Dance condo's so I have built my own and also changed a few things after getting ideas from this site.
We have some great engineers on this site and it's amazing the things they come up with. Check out the structure threads and make them for a fraction versus the Dance models. Bill doesn't really need the money.

We're catching bass off of these.

Have 6 of them right off our dock in 15-20 ft of water.

I cannot get picture to load.

    Description:

    55 gallon plastic drum (blue).
2 10 foot pvc drain pipes run through the upper part of the drum cross wise
1 inch holes all through the bottom and side - loaded with cinder blocks.
