    Default Placing Summer Structure

I was wondering if anyone places structure out in the summertime. I made some to put out in the winter after duck season but the water got so High I decided to wait. There is a bunch of people fishing now. I figure it will slow down in the summer especially during the heat of the day. That is when I thought about placing it. Any suggestions, opinions, and advice is welcome.
Thanks in advace and I know you guys can help.

    Default Crappie structure

I always go during the week when putting in brush. Tuesday, a buddy and I put in seven good ones on Lake Hartwell in 45 feet of water in the channels near shallow water. These should pay off real well during the heat of summer. We cut trees at least 20 feet tall and place jugs in them so they will stand up. We use an old pontoon boat that makes it pretty easy as long as you have two people. I will not cut the brush if boats are around.

I usually put new tops out in the heat of summer when there is little activity on the lake. The best fishing here is usually in September and it gives the tops time to grow algae and the crappie time to get used to them. I catch more crappie in the fall from brushpiles than any other time of the year.

    Default brush

The best time to put out christmas trees or brush is ANYTIME....
I catch my biggest crappie in the fall.... they gorge them selves for the winter pattern and feed like crazy....

Plus summer is the time of year that there is few folks fishing... they dont like 100+ temp here in Texas.... I love it.... little or no wind..... GO TEAM GO....:D:D

I agree during the week or late on a Sunday afternoon. I live within a 1/2 mile of the lake so Sunday afternoon is a good time for me. I like to do a lot of my scouting and graphing then also so as not to disturb people that are fishing.

I Usually Put Mine Out During The Afternoon. I Use Pvc That Is Ready To Assemble And It Just Takes About Five Minutes To Get It Into The Water.

Go fishing at 5am and do the drop before the sun comes up then go fish.
