structure in flat but deep lakes

I'm thinking about dropping a brush pile in a local lake that is generally deep, but for the most part is falt without many drop-offs. Where would be some good places to drop a brush pile?

That is the key "dropoffs".... if there is few of them then load up the ones that are there.... find bends in the creek and points...
