Has anyone heard of or have any experience using those metal tomato cages for structure? I have recently accquired around 20 cages. Some are the large diameter ones (around 36in) others are the smaller diameter ones (around 18in). I was think of bending the bottom legs into a "U" shape and anchoring them in some concrete and placing them in a spot I know. Not sure how much the metal would attract and grow algae. Anyone have any ideas or suggestions?
