    Default Last for this season

I set out the last of my bamboo today. While checking out some of the earlier piles I found folks fishing on a couple spots. Oh well, once it hits the water it belongs to everyone who can find it. I did get asked if I minded if others found my spots and I told them to have at them, just help out and put some brush out too when the fish start disappearing. I've found others spots so I don't have any room to get upset when mine are found. Even had a couple followers the last time out, told one guy if I didn't want mine to be found I'd either put them out at night or not at all. Lifes to short so fish when and where you can. I also put out three of the Bamboo mat type condo's today. The first of that type for me. Learned a couple of things. One: It's easier if you have some help. Two: don't do it on a windy day. Three: don't try to haul so much material and blocks that you don't leave room to work. Four: it takes at least 7' deep water to totally hide one. first one is showing a bit.

Did I mention wind? I started at 9:00 am, dead calm. By 9:20, half way thru the first a front hit. By 10:00 am while finishing #3 it was blowing about 25 mph and getting very cold.

Can't wait to put some more out.
    Good fishing.

I know what you mean Ferdi. I know some of mine are going to get found and fished...thats just part of fishing.

What ruffles my feathers is when I'm looking at my GPS approaching my brushpile and look down to see a cork or coke bottle weighted to just below the surface! If I wanted to advertise it's location I would have put up a sign saying "Hey, stop and fish here!!"

Don't get me wrong, I have enjoyed watching a Grandpa and his Grandsons having a ball catching fish around some of my structures and I even told them of a couple more really closeby. Just don't mark the spot visually causing excessive fishing pressure.
