Presidents Day Ceremonies, Toano, Virginia
40 volunteers with the Virginia Chapter, Habitat For Crappie Humanity look on in silent respect at the annual Burning Of The Bottom Boughs ceremony. The boughs are fried as a symbolic gesture of the sacrifices made by Christmas trees all over, in the interest of providing ample housing and improved living conditions to crappie everywhere.
An Honor Guard from Bucket Brigade C, 1st Quikset Sacrete Div., presides.
