I have always been successful building tops out of Bamboo. Pretty easy to build & put out. 10' tall and last about 3 years until they need to be rebuilt.

If placed in the middle of the lake to avoid Beavers, will Willows last longer than Bamboo?

I can get Willows but will have to haul them on a 14' trailer, just like I do the bamboo.

Is it worth the extra effort to try the Willows?
