Default Friends of CJ Reservoir cover drop 2014

Here's a few pics of our last ODNR and Army COE involved cover drop....we added 92 Christmas trees, Cedar Brush blocks, 20 HUGE PVC structures, 80 other PVC trees and pvc/wood combos, 20 Osage orange buckets, Plastic Fence Catfish Cover, bamboo, and a 40 foot long× 20 foot wide × 5 ft tall artificial freshwater reef.
We had ALOT of sore men...young and old alike.

It's been a good 8 yr run.....Everyone was personally THANKED for such a wonderful project....we turned a "BARREN DEAD BOWL" into a thriving and prosperous lake! We pretty much covered all the areas in a 2200 acre lake where we could put cover and it would be beneficial.
The friends that we all made during this process, were just an extra benefit...now we have friends and fishing partners for life....I have never met such a dedicated group of fishermen, they have given their time, money, and hard work, to change our home lake! THE RESULTS ARE ASTONISHING!
The best part, is that most of the cover we put in, will outlast our children's children! My son is already talking about getting his buddies together when they are older to continue the legacy we have left!
    GOOD FISHING TO ALL!

It was worth every doubt, every scratch, every bug bite. And it gives me hope that it will go on after us...

That's pretty awesome. I wish we could get guys together and do that... Brush piles are too "hush hush" around my parts.
You think I like to duck hunt? I love to crappie fish!
