newbe wanting to build condos

first of all i am a newbe at crappie fishiing and would like for someone to give me the general idea of how to build a condo out of pvc and some other questions. how to get it on the botton and keep it there, what to look for in placeing it. how deep and anything thing else will be appreciated

first, welcome to the site, lots of great info here for ya,
if you look thru some of the past years condo post, theres tons of photos of condo's.
a 5 gal. spackle bucket, loaded with stones/cement with 1" pvc pipe is all you need. not sure where your fishing but 15 to 20 feet is a good depth to start. (for winter fishing)
make about 5 of them, drop them in an area you like, the fish will find em, just drop them strait down with a double line and once it hits bottom, let go of one end and pull the line back up,
