clear strip cut

Just bought a house that sits on a 60ac cut.... this will be my first spring fishing it... the water is very clear like most mine pits are in my area. Going to be putting out a lot of new structure... curious on what depths and what kinda of structure will work best in this clear stuff... there is natural vegetation along the banks and points and so on... from what it looks like could be a very nice place right out the back door...give me any kinda thoughts you got... willing to try anything to get this place where it needs to be

Start by getting a boat with a good sonar on it, map the contours roughly. See what`s there...also check the water pH and see where the thermocline is, also look for springs (56F water plumes). Time spent in recce is seldom wasted...
