that looks awesome ive been looking for something like this to build!!! how easy is it transport and drop, or do you build it on the water, and what keeps the boo from coming out of the pipe and floating up

Hi Bwomack,

My friend has a big 18ft flat bottom boat...We just throw the boo in the boat and put 2-3 pvc buckets in boat...It is easier to build in the boat...Because, you really need to put it on the front of the boat....The boo shafts etc get hit the water....Which makes the bucket move...Plus, you have to go slow...Sometimes can be hard to see out the front....We just shove the boo through the hole....We usually use 2 boo shafts...Sometimes three if we have a couple smaller diameter boo shafts....The little limbs on the boo...It acts like lock once you get pulled through hole....The boo isn't going anywhere...Trust me....We tried to pull them out once in....You really have to tug on it....


We use roughly 14 pieces of boo per each one....We have 7 full holes in the pvc...14 if you count each hole on each side...

We use 4in sewer pipe...It comes in 10ft length...Home depot has it for 7 bucks.....We cut into two 5 ft pieces...Make sure you put a few screws in the pvc.....When you put into the concrete...Better off safe than sorry...Have seen pvc pull right out concerte....Without anything acting as anchor....We found that 2in holes work the best for us....

I would say 3 to 5 years....But, I don't think anyone knows exactly how long for sure...
