Rough 1st pallet ..trying to get an idea of what I want and the screws necessary to build how many I want... the workmanship is alittle off .. ill use a saw to make better cuts this one was with my foot!

Securing some osage orange or locust branches inside it might make it somewhat more productive; both last 15+ yrs underwater...

Here's an idea .. hand those fake plastic leaf things at hobby lobby from the point and trim them to touch the pallet?? Can you have to much cover??

This may be something good to get hung on.

That tee pee using 3 pallets looks heavy, hard to sink and a hook hanging problem. We use 1 pallet with verticle stakes which is lighter, easier to sink and less hang ups.

The lighter the pallet the faster the softwood will rot and the harder they will be to sink. The heavy ones that sink easier, if they are in at all good shape, can be usually be sold back to pallet recyclers. for some pretty good $$$. Most companies of any size sell back their empties to some such company; so be sure that is not the case before you get in trouble for taking them from work.

Up here in Minnesota, losing hardwood pallets to ice fishermen to fuel ice fishing shack heaters has long been a real cost item for shipping companies. The good ones are now guarded pretty carefully for return to shipper. One company I worked for charged the shippers a per pallet cost for all those that didn't come back. I kept the tally sheets; so I know that is a fact. The one-ways are normally trash for any additional use of any kind.
