Where can I find stakes to build my bucketbeds and stakes to drive in the Camden and Big Sandy TN area? Thanks.

Look in the phone book for the local sawmill....Sawmills are the best place to get the scrap wood..

I get mine from a sawmill/lumberyard, they go in Kentucky Lake too, but I'm a pretty good ways north of you. If you can't find anything down there, send me a pm and I'll tell you about where I get mine.

Check with Crappie.com member Sixfin. They had a big stakebed operation going on on Kentucky Lake a few years back. He might be able to turn you onto his stake source. I get mine from a local pallet mill. Every now and then I drop him off a few bags of crappie fillets whenever I'm over that way to show my appreciation.

I just bought 2000 tobacco sticks from an old farmer nearby. Look on craigslist near you for tobacco sticks. They work great and are cheap also.

Find a tobacco farmer that has a lot of old sticks with ends broke off he does not want and will let you have them
