    Default why build cover

Fished a little crappie tournament yesterday. Tough day, many folks did not catch a fish. 12 pounds won it, 2nd was 5 pounds and 3rd was 4 pounds. I got the big fish award with a 31 oz crappie. Caught that fish off some bamboo in a 5 gallon bucket I put out in 12 feet of water almost a year ago.

We can catch limits off our cover while lots of others go fishless. In lakes with little cover you can't put out to much cover. We passed 200 and still building them.

Nothing is free in this world. That is unless you are a thief or a free loader. I like building habitat and catching fish over it for several years myself.

i wish the water would go down so we can fish our brush. My home lake is over 18 foot above normal pool and we just got another 4 inches today. if this keeps up we might all get relocated to Louisana.

IS THERE SOME KIND OF GUIDE ON BUILDING COVER?

SOUNDS LIKE SOMETHING i'D BE INTERESTING IN DOING AS THERE'S NOT MUCH THERE ON THE LIKE I NORMALLY FISH.

DOES IT TAKE SOME LONG TERM PLANNING OR DO YOU REAP SOME IMMEDIATE BENEFITS
