Default easy way to sink bamboo

i was think and started to make bamboo setup. was wanting to get a some feed back on new project. To make it easy I poured concrete in dish pans put four inks of chain in pan leaveing a half of link of chain out of the concrete so i can hook wire to the chain when the concrete dry. Second Ill cut the bamboo down and run wire though the bamboo, then attach the wire to the half link i left out the concrete. My only problem my be will all the bamboo float. I was thinking with the air still in the bamboo, it will float. do i need to put the bamboo upside-down, so the thicker part of the bamboo with the bigger air pockets help it float or just leave it rightside-up. I wanted to do it this way so i can get as much as i can on ever trip.THANKS FOR ANY IN-PUT.

This is how I make boo condos....

I mix about 1/2 a bucket of concrete and insert boo....I drill a couple of holes in the bottom of the bucket to let out excess water & let dry at least 24 hrs...
This boo is 15' tall..... I like to put them out under bridges in deep water 30 - 38 ft deep....some times I tie a jug in the top of the boo incase someone hangs it and pulls it over and it will come back upright...

If the bamboo are not in the concrete but have wire running though the bottom of the bamboo so they can connect to the concrete with the hook in it. If the bamboo are lose will the float.

Is this the same as big sip-ties. bamboo will float with out bottles, and if some one hang-up on this set-up and pull it over the bamboo will still float up right. I THINK

but one of the main reson to do it in a bucket is if the boo is free to move it will bunch up more like a pole if done in bucket or what ever you get a nice bush /spread to it

We make bundles of 15 boo about 1-2 inched around. Drill a hole through the bottom and run wire through them to make a bundle. So we have 15 boo at 16-18 feet long, takes 3 block to sink them. And they do stand without any floatations on them.
