    Default Artificial Christmas Trees

Was wondering if this would be a good idea since I have a couple of old warn out ones laying around. Just not sure about the metal limbs and trunk rusting.

I'm guessing the metal would deteriate pretty quickly under water...

The artificial limbs sure make good camo on permanent deer stands.....

I've had some hanging in the woods for 5 years now and they're holding up pretty good....

That's a real good idea. May just use it for that. May see if I can attach them to my climbing stand some way. Thanks

Fire retardant, chemical paints, 10 pounds of plastic in the water from the leaves, and who knows what else kinda makes them sound like not such a good idea to put in the water. Inert PVC is one thing but all those chemicals that we don't even know about on the artificial trees may not be a good idea. I wouldn't use them.

Now for trees stands, maybe, but there again, animals trying to use them as homes, chewing on them and such makes them potentially as bad.

Making your own structure out of limbs and such is easy and wouldn't put all those potential problems out there.
I love taking my kids fishing, now if I could just manage to fish at the same time.
