Try this some time. I use 2 cups each of Bisquick and yellow cornmeal. Add about 1/4 cup of sugar and 1/2 cup of finely chopped onion. Make a stiff dough by adding enough milk to make a ball on a teaspoonful. I use 2 teaspoonsas I put in the oil. As they cook, the bottom side gets lighter and they actually will turn themselves. Quick, easy and never a complaint.
