Whole/ fillet hybrid

Last year I had a few smaller crappie that I started to scrape but I thought lemme try something. I scraped em' and then filleted them to the tail and kept it on. this is what I came up with. It's a little more involved but I only had a few I did like this. Just thought I'd share. BTW, they were purt dang good! Always like havin' the crunchy chip at the end!
