Busy Bachelor Days - Crappie Sandwich & Hushpuppies

Doin' the Bachelor thing this week and just had to get some fried Crappie worked in. Lots of other stuff happening so not a lot of effort in the cooking dept.



Typical fish fry. Egg Buttermilk wash, Zatarain's Seasoned Fish Fry, kitchen deep fryer, etc.



Knowing I had these Hushpuppies in the freezer and a Air Fryer on the counter plugged I just put them together for 6 minutes (from frozen) for a perfect side to my sandwich.



When you want a sandwich you want a sandwich. I buy these buns at Walmart. They are above average and only come 4 to a pack. We usually throw 1/2 a 8 pack of buns away so the price of these doesn't bother me. I always eat all of these. So I like a good Mayo, slice of purple onion, hamburger dills, lettuce, Tarter Sauce on the bottom bun, and Frank's all over my fillets. With a Barq's Rootbeer, I was doin' just fine.



I wiped everything out except 1 fillet, my Rat Terrier took care of that fillet a piece at a time while I was working on the rest. Man's best friend when doin' the Bachelor thing - His Dog!
