This. After using an electric, I would never go back to a regular knife. I can process a fish in under 30 seconds.

I have filleted a couple hundred crappie and it's still going strong. I'm not one to keep more than a dozen fish per outing, if you frequently bring home multiple limits it's probably worth buying a higher quality knife, my cheap knife doesn't like running for extended periods and tends to get a little warm.
Sometimes an electric knife is a bit of challenge on sub-10" fish, it's a little too easy to saw through the backbone, but I don't like to eat fish that small anyway.
