I was flipping through the tv channels the other day and caught Paula Dean grilling some of these. I could almost smell it through the tv. Gotta try it, really soon.
Now talking about bbq cabbage, try using the purple stuff and try using different meats as in some squrrill, and gator. Its all good on the earlier post but man there are so many ways to cook cabbage, but man every way is a good way.
OK y'all.... gave it a try with a volunteer from our garden - talk about YUMMY!!!!
I'm gonna have to recommend this to everybody - good stuff!!!!

What temp you cooking this on for the ones of us that have gas grills. Looks good I can't wait to try it.
Use indirect grilling for this one so it doesn't burn on the bottom.
A smoking pouch with some wood chips would still give it a bbq flavor probably or add some liquid smoke to the sauce.
Enjoy!
heck yeah! That's look done right! NICE!Quote:

I had to cover it with foil for a while, because the outside was starting to get a little too well done.
Got a camping trip coming up, sounds like something good to go on an open fire. Probably have everyone in the whole campground drooling. LOL
