    Default shake and bake fish


    I tried a new recipe the other night it turned out great i had some left over shake and bake extra crispy mix i took a few crappie fillets and coated with olive
    oil them put fillets in bag and added the mix shook and made sure they were coated then place on a cookie sheet with a layer of foil baked at 400 deg for 20 minutes man they were delicious and it is healthy to.just thought i would share i love fried crappie but i am on a diet
    and this is the next best thing jmo

    I recently did some white bass fillets in pork shake and bake. Actually came out very good and was definitely a lot less messy than breaking out the fry daddy. Tonight I'll try Swai fillets in cracker crumbs baked in butter, should be pretty decent. Still like my fryer, but not missing it too much

    Spec Chaser, my wife found your recipe a couple months ago. Tried it and haven't fried fish since.

    Just watch the sodium content (salt) if you're health requires low sodium intake. Shake-n-Bake Extra Crispy coating mix contains 12% of your daily sodium intake requirements (per serving). At 8 servings per pkg, you could be taking in a lot of sodium !!

    I like a similar recipe, but I use crushed Cheese It Crackers instead! YUM! I'm going to try the crispy shake-n-bake! Thanks for sharing!

    do the same thing with panko flakes or corn meal/flour combo. it's all good guys.
