Blackened Fish Soft Tacos. TRY THIS ONE!
Decided to give Fish Tacos a try. I’ve had them at the restaurants but never made them myself. Glad we did. Another excellent fish meal. The wife loved it and we will be making this again. Give this a try. You won’t be disappointed!

Blackened Crappie Soft Tacos
Serves 2 (About 5-6 tacos)
1/4 cup chopped cilantro
2 cups bagged salad (lettuce with red cabbage and carrots)
1/4 cup salsa
3 tblspn salsa
1/3 cup sour cream
1 lb dry crappie fillets (or another type of white flesh fish)
Blackening seasoning
1/4 stick of unsalted butter
6" soft flour tortillas
Lime juice (optional)
Shredded Mexican blend cheese (optional)
In a medium bowl, mix the cilantro, salad and 1/4 cup salsa. Set aside.
In a small bowl, mix sour cream and 3tblspn of salsa. Set aside.
Blacken the crappie fillets as directed on seasoning. (Simply: Coat with melted butter, sprinkle on seasoning, throw in a red hot iron skillet til cooked). Break fillets into bite size pieces. Drizzle with lime juice if you like.
Warm up your soft tortillas.
Spread a tablespoon of the sour cream/salsa mixture on the tortilla. Place a nice portion of fish on the tortilla. Add some of the lettuce/salsa mixture. Sprinkle with cheese if you like. Fold in half and stuff your face. This stuff is awesome!
Enjoy!
