    Default Blackened Crappie Frazzle

    I like simple recipes.

    - coat some crappie fillets with favorite blackening seasoning
    - pan sear fillets on a pretty hot, lightly oiled skillet. Remove from skillet. Chop up fillets real good with the spatula.
    - brown some diced onion in same pan. Mix the crappie back in the pan as the onions near completion
    - cook some rice

Mix it all up. Put in mouth.

I also substituted chopped cabbage for the rice once and it was good too. Cooked the cabbage with the onion.

I'd have to have a couple Zantacs for dessert if I ate that... but it sounds good! I love fish and rice together!

Bet that would beg great with white bass, greenbass, catfish, crap, drum?, and some of them other slimey suckers like trouts! Might make them worth eating.
