Heh, I've never owned a Roadrunner, but I have a pack ordered through the mail, last week. I'm sure they catch crappie. The main reason I want to try them personally is the hope that they will troll better than the crappie jigs I'm used to, which tend to twirl. I always therefore cast with jigs, and slow retrieve or use a bobber. Fine if you already know where they are, but very slow for exploring new areas.
The shape looks right for trolling, to me, so, looking forward to it when they get here! Maybe even today.....
