Road Runners...keep them wet, fish them slow, catch them.
I'm trying every time to catch Crappie on a Road Runner... but the Bass and Yellow Perch ain't giving them a chance. Caught a nice 16" Bass on a Micro-Light setup yesterday, and the thing nearly spooled me multiple times before I got it to the net. That little 4'6" Pflueger Microspin rod was almost bent in half. But what a vicious strike! I was throwing a little 1/32 oz white Maribou RR. Fish love that thing, and I do too. Has recently become a favorite, and is always tied on.
