B & M reminds me when the boys were small I bought them long telescoping fiberglass poles with build in reels. No line bird nests or trouble casting. Just a simple swing and a drop. I laugh when I remember them setting the hook. The pole would go straight up in the air and the crappie would swing towards the pier. They just laughed at me ducking. Some times the crappie would slap a high pier support and quiver in response. Never a dull moment. Especially at night.
