I may be totally off, but I think bugman is all but giving the answer. He says they are packed in 10 count bags. And the winner will win a 100 count pack. Seems to me they are 100ct bags. I see 5 bags of 9 different colors.

9x5x100= 4500.

But with all the different "ranges" that have been guessed, who knows!
