    Went to private lake known for 3 lb ers and big bg. My bud who is ate up w numbers and had been k8lling them on bigger lakes kept apologizing but I caught a 15 + inch crappie, several 12 to 13+ and couple big bg. So I was fine. First time I ever did better than my obsessed friend. So on next to he laid the smackdown upon me which is just fine. Always interesting and educational with him as he basically dock shot while standing sideways to hole and put it way back and caught 6 real n8ce ones.

    Then went to another lake where he had brush planted and picked up more.

    Great day overall as I was ketchn lots of bass on first lake and released them plus the big Slab of course.

      Nice looking fish there. Good table shot. Any day out fishing is awesome no matter who catches the most, just enjoy the experience.

      what's crazy is I had a MUCH better ketchn week this! didn't get the biggest ones as did here but lots more numbers and felt the thump on multiple lakes and locations.

      there is this issue with going along with me in that it might happen just whenever my friend , something in my internal clock alarm goes off and down the road I go to the nearest place I think might have a willing crappie or 27 ....just saying
      passed a real good boat ride up today as I have other things to accomplish , but that said , i will likely stop somewhere in my travels and wet a jig too

      doug it was ok as he has put me on a lot of crappie over the years and last years "crappie signal" had me off and running and hour and had the best 3 week run of big un's on the bank ever and shared it with several friends.
