    Pulled 50 yesterday in 16-24ft of water. Water temp was 50-52 degrees, and we were using tandem rigged Thump Chubbies in the Blue Lightning and Orange Crush colors. Jigs were rigged on 1/8 ounce heads. The fish wanted the baits moving slowly at all times. Not so much up and down, but more so swimming left to right, or on the fall.

      Excellent job! In those water temps, we too have found them in identical depths and use the same drifting, side pulling presentations. You don't need much action to get bit.

      I appreciate it! It was a chilly morning to be on the water, but the human body can endure a lot when the fish are biting.

      Thank you G. I designed that mold to mimic small, bulbous shaped baby shad. It looks funny and has a funny name, but this design pays a lot of my mortgage payments through my using it while guiding.
