21” NJ channel catfish

Went fishing 🎣 in 53 degrees Carnegie Lake this afternoon on a warm, sunny day with a light south wind. Bugs 🪳 were active. Caught 4 bluegills, 2 gizzard shad, a yellow perch, a black crappie and a 21” 4 lb 9 oz channel catfish with Walmart worms 🪱. The catfish fought hard on my ultralight spinning outfit with 4 lb test line, but floated belly up after I threw it back into the lake twice so I gave it to the Ukrainian National Home where I saw two deer 🦌, a buck and a doe. Took pics. Heard spring peepers for the first time this year. Saw a mosquito 🦟 and bat.
