Question for the CAT guys

Have been going back to those days long gone by and getting back into carp fishing. Catching a few along with snappers, painted turtles and today this cat. All on vanilla flavored cornmeal. Was fishing a old commercial orchard lake that is now on a West Virginia WMA. Good half hour walk back in so I rigged up the carp cart. Worked out better than expected, couldn't see carrying all that gear in. Didn't measure but figure in the 18-20" range and sure gave a good account of itself for its size. Brown Bullhead?
